begin your course today with e-Learning:

Learning to scuba dive has never been more convenient! Whether you’re on the go or want to take it slow, complete the knowledge development portion of your PADI course online before you arrive.

You can enrol in the full E-learning on the PADI website but do contact your desired dive centre for the current PADI theory options. PADI is forever growing and updating its digital offline versions.

E-learning can save you time on your well-earned holiday. However, some people prefer face-to-face teaching and feel more comfortable being taught in person. It is really up to you. Whether you like a personal interaction with your Instructor during theory time or prefer self-study using the PADI website, both options will allow you to pass your course and have a full understanding of the diving.

The e-learning module is fairly self-explanatory but if you have any questions during the study process, please feel free to contact us.

Why Choose eLearning?

  • Minimised class time and maximum in-water time
  • Accessibility anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week!
  • Immediate feedback and gratification through electronic content delivery
  • Complement learning with virtual modelling simulations and video clips
  • Learn at your own pace, in your own home or wherever you choose

before you begin your course:

Before you arrive at your chosen Blue Marlin, you must be sure that you are in a suitable physical condition for the sport of diving. At the start of the course, every student must complete and sign a PADI Medical Statement, which includes a number of questions relating to your medical history. By answering the questions, you will discover if you’ll require a doctor’s check-up before taking to the water. (PADI insists on this if your medical history shows a ‘contra-indication’ to participating in diving.)

Answer each question carefully. If you are unsure of the answer to any of the questions, you should answer “yes”. Sign and date the bottom of your statement.

If any of the answers you give to the questions are “yes”, visit your doctor for a medical examination, taking your statement with you to show him/her.

If your doctor is satisfied with your health, you are ready to start your course. However, you must bring BOTH your signed Medical Statement and your doctor’s clearance with you, as we are required to keep these with your training records.
