Have you always wanted to try scuba diving but are not ready to commit to the full course? Are you keen to sees turtle up close underwater but are short on time? The Discover Scuba Diving Experience program is just what you've been looking for. This half day program is also the first section of the Open Water course, so if you decide to continue right away or within a month you are on your way to becoming a certified diver! (Half day)

Once you meet your instructor you will be given a thorough briefing about what to expect underwater, rules to keep you safe and the skills you will be learning in the pool. Afterwards your instructor will help you get fitted with your dive equipment and ready for your first breaths underwater. Once you have mastered skills like clearing your mask you are ready to head to the ocean for your very first dive to a maximum of 12 metres.

Course Options



This program allows children who are 8 or 9 years old the opportunity to scuba dive to a maximum depth of two metres in a confined water environment. After a briefing with parents and participants, the divers will head to the pool where they will play games with the instructors and also learn basic skills and safety rules. If the conditions are favorable and they are comfortable in the water, participants may have the opportunity to dive to a depth of two metres in the ocean.
